Capture d’écran 2020-11-29 à 13.44.54.

Kepler 442-b is located in the Lyra constellation, over a thousand light years away from Earth. Its year comprises of 112 days and as the exoplanet is younger than Earth, it has developed a thin atmosphere.

As it is getting 70% light compared to Earth, organisms there have had to develop new biological strategies to help filter radiations due to the less protective atmospheric UV filtration and to maximize oxygen and light.
